In 2010, a friend of mine taught at a small summer school in El Callejon, Cabarete, on the north coast of the D.R. On a visit to her and her class, I sponsored and lead a three-day photography workshop about the power of images. Below are photographs by my students, taken on disposable cameras. Most of them had never held a camera before.
